Ongoing Discussions & Update
LABRATS continue to work closely with the UK Government regarding the Special Tribunal and outstanding maters regarding the affected communities of British Nuclear Testing.
Our regular Office for Veterans Affairs (OVA) meeting will be held during the All-Tests Reunion next week, where 99 representatives of the community are gathering for a week long reunion.
We continue to lobby Number 10 and have undertaken meetings with officials to discuss the path forward. This week we met with the Acting Director of the OVA.
We are continuing to push forward for the special tribunal, as well as Education, Memorialisation and Descendant Research. These items are very important as the community still has many unanswered questions.
We have spoken to ex-ministers about their roles in the historical injustice and will continue to work with them to uncover the truth for this community. We have many supportive MP's and they have been extremely helpful in ensuring that we continue to pressure the government to call the special tribunal.
We have received support from the current Defence Secretary Wes Streeting and will continue to push for the community.

Next week will be a fun week for our attendees, we have entertainment planned each day and it will bring together veterans and their families. We would like to thank the BNTVA Museum and the NCCF for their support and help.
When we receive any further news or updates, we will post them online and in our quarterly magazine 'ATOM' which is distributed to paid up Associate members.
There is significant progress being made, but we will not make any announcements until they have been finalised as we would not want to cause any anxiety or raise false hopes within the community. As always, the community have the final say, we represent you and it is your wishes that we are carrying out.
