campaign governance
Due to the sensitive nature of this campaign and the ethical protocols which are required for dealing with indigenous communities, veterans and their families, we have designed a governance document which we will ask all partners to understand.
The governance must be understood and followed to ensure that the campaign is a success and that everyone involved is working towards the same goal and that all references to the campaign are authorised.

MISSING MEDICAL RECORDS REVIEW
On the 15th July 2026, the Ministry of Defence published its findings after a 19-month investigation into the Missing Medical Records. Despite months of work and weekly meetings with LABRATS, the UK Government decided not to publish the recommendations alongside the report. They claim this was due to the change in Administration and a new Prime Minister.
Representatives from LABRATS viewed the documents before publication but were incredibly disappointed that the recommendations were not published and that a written statement was produced, rather than an oral statement to the house. By submitting a written statement, the government avoided scrutiny from MP's.

Steve Purse and Alan Owen appeared on BBC Newsnight after reviewing the document.
Steve Purse, Steve Foote and Alan Owen then met with Andy Burnham to discuss how to move forward once he is Prime Minister.

Steve Foote and Alan Owen then discussed the meeting on GB News on the 15th July 2026.
The Secretary of State for Defence was then asked for comment during a TV interview.
