ORGANISATONAL HELP

Veterans Can
Veterans Can… is a Veteran owned, Veteran driven organisation that’s powering positive change where it’s needed and where our members want.
A not-for-profit CIC, our moral compass points where it should and we’re proud to do what we do.
Join us and help show the good we can achieve together. For far too long, there has been a perception that all Veterans are damaged in some way. At best this can be counter intuitive, and at worst, harmful and we are keen to change this.
Veterans Can…CIC is a registered social enterprise created to bring together like-minded people with a variety of backgrounds, but a common thread – a determination to talk and act positively, support each other, do good and to serve on.
Join us and help celebrate what it really means to be a Veteran.

Armed Forces Covenant
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or have served in the Armed Forces, and their families, including the bereaved, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy, and society they serve with their lives.
Its two principles are that, recognising the unique obligations of, and sacrifices made by, the Armed Forces:
Those who serve in the Armed Forces, whether Regular or Reserve, those who have served in the past, and their families, should face no disadvantage compared to other citizens in the provision of public and commercial services.
Special consideration is appropriate in some cases, especially for those who have given most such as the injured and the bereaved.

The Royal Air Forces Association
0800 018 2361
For over 90 years, the RAF Association has championed a simple belief – that no member of the RAF community should ever be left without the help that they need.
Not since WWII has the RAF been so constantly deployed on global operations – and across the generations, the need for support is becoming ever more complex. Demand for our services is therefore increasing significantly.
For the sake of everyone who needs our help, we must continue to evolve and innovate to meet these new challenges and remain at the leading edge of service provision. We must champion the best interests of the RAF community more strongly than ever before.
Only then can we be sure that every member of our RAF community is receiving the support they need and deserve.
