All Tests Reunion 2022

LABRATS announced that we had secured funding for the All Tests Reunion at Pontins, Sand Bay, Weston-Super-Mare. The funding to cover 110 classic room places has been provided by the National Lottery Community Fund and is available to any attendee, we now only have a few free places left, due to high demand, so if you haven't booked, you will need to hurry.

The reunion has been held for many years and brings together Veterans and their families for a week-long holiday. The organising committee provides entertainment for the whole week and provides an environment for old colleagues to get together and discuss their time at the tests.

If you have never attended the reunion, it is a very special event, a day trip is provided to a museum, entertainment from the Kiribati dancers and Marvin (whose voice is unbelievable).

It is a chance to have a free holiday, meet up with old colleagues, listen to testimonies, watch videos, play a quiz, and a golf tournament.

In this Platinum jubilee year, we will be celebrating the Queen's jubilee. This year is also the 70th anniversary of the first British test (Operation Hurricane at the Montebello Islands on 3rd October 1952) and it is the 60th anniversary of Operation Dominic on Christmas Island.

2021 was a very emotional year, with the sad passing of Sandie Hern and Jim Cooper who had administered the reunion for many years. 2022 will see us commemorate the 60th and 70th anniversaries.

The places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Anyone who has already booked or paid a deposit will automatically be converted to a free place. Any upgrades to a club room (£20 per night per room - a total of £80 or £40 for a single room) will need to be paid separately to LABRATS as this funding covers the classic £84 room.
