LABRATS are proud to announce two Educational Launch Events across the UK. Our New Educational package will be launched in Wales and England over the next 3 weeks.
These exciting events will showcase the new Educational package that was shown to the attendees of the All-Test Reunion in September 2025 at Pontins, Sand Bay, Weston-Super-Mare.
The events will take place on the following days:
Pierhead Building, Senedd - Cardiff - 22nd October 2025. 12 pm
Mayors Council Chambers, Manchester - 7th November 2025. 12:30 pm
Each event will consist of the following agenda:
Introduction from Sponsor / Distinguished guests
Educational Book Launch
Educational Video Presentation
Educational Course Launch
Q&A Session with panellists
The event in Manchester will also include the laying of wreaths for Remembrance at the NTV Memorial in St Peter's Square. Refreshments will be provided at both venues.
To ascertain catering requirements, we are asking people to RSVP for their attendance.
These events are essential to show the world that Britain tested Nuclear Weapons between 1952 and 1991 in the atmosphere and underground. The UK also conducted approximately 600 minor trials, which were amongst the most polluting tests ever carried out, leaving parts of Australia contaminated for thousands of years.
The Educational Suite is split into three parts:

Each part will be explained at the launch event. We would love to see you at the events. They will be recorded and made available after the events have taken place.
Our first panel at the Senedd has been confirmed:
Sioned Williams MS - Sponsor of the event
Richard Outram - NFLA & Mayors for Peace
Professor Chris Hill - University of South Wales & Co-Lead of The Oral History Project
Captain Terry Hughes - Nuclear Veteran of Operation Grapple
Do not miss out on these events; come and learn about the testing program and how we can educate the world about British Nuclear Testing.
The educational material has taken 2 years to develop with the support of the Office for Veterans Affairs, Brian Cowden, Steve Purse, Joseph Owen and Captain Terry Hughes. Graphic design by Kev Lowery of Extra Mile.
These two events were created with the kind support of Sioned Williams MS, and Nuclear Free Local Authorities.
